Qualifications

• 4-year degree and license eligible.
• 2+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting in a public accounting firm.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals from middle market to multinational companies.
• Participate in tax research projects and draft IRS responses.
• Team with leaders on special projects in flow-through taxation.
• Develop recommendations for the client and share with leadership.
• Communicate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, credits and incentives.
• Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching and firm-wide development programs.
• Network and build strong internal and client relationships.
• Support growth and development through Baker Tilly's Care and Teach philosophy.
