Cherry Bekaert LLP in San Antonio is seeking a Senior Associate in Tax to review federal and multi-state returns and support client engagements.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with partners, and deliver high-quality service while leveraging proficiency with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement.

Bachelor’s in Accounting and 3+ years in public accounting are required; strong communication and leadership are expected.

As a Senior Associate, Tax, You Will

• Review federal and multi-state tax returns across a diverse client base, including flow-through entities
• Conduct research on fundamental tax issues and apply findings to client engagements
• Support tax engagements by performing accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned by managers
• Communicate effectively with managers, partners, and clients to deliver high-quality service
• Train and mentor Staff Accountants while supporting team development
• Collaborate with tax professionals and administrative teams in a team-oriented environment

What You Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting
• Strong proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software
• Experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement software is a plus
• A passion for delivering exceptional client service with integrity and professionalism
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to develop junior team members

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Pay Range

$83,700 - $123,100
