Job summary

Cherry Bekaert in San Antonio is seeking an Audit Senior to lead engagement teams, manage client risks, and improve audit efficiency in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience using Engagement is a plus.
• CPA certification or eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Masters preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.

• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.

As An Audit Senior, You Will

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks
• You will develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams
