Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Houston is seeking a Senior Associate, Tax to join a collaborative team that delivers high-quality advisory and tax services. You will review federal and multi-state returns, conduct research, and support engagements while mentoring junior staff.

You bring a bachelor’s in accounting, 3+ years public accounting, strong communication and leadership, and proficiency with spreadsheets and tax software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement software is a plus.
• Strong client service mindset with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, including mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on fundamental tax issues and apply findings to client engagements
• Support tax engagements by performing accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned by managers

As a Senior Associate, Tax, you will:

Pay Range: $83,700 - $123,100
