Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Tax Senior to join our high net worth private client group in the Portland, OR office. The role offers engagement management responsibilities, client advisory work, and opportunities to mentor staff.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant tax experience, CPA eligibility is preferred, and experience with trusts and gift reporting is valuable. CLA values professional development and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant tax experience for individuals and trusts.
• 1 year supervising and reviewing engagements preferred.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and gift reporting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, trust, gift and related owner pass-through entity engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.

What you will need:

• 2 years of relevant experience required
