Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior to join our high net worth private client group in our Portland, OR office. You will prepare, supervise, and review engagements for individuals, trusts, and related entities, partnering with clients to deliver tailored tax advisory services.

The role emphasizes engagement management, staff development, and expanding technical knowledge through client exposure and training, with opportunities to work with a diversified client base.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant tax experience required.
• 1 year experience supervising and reviewing preferred.
• Experience with high net worth individuals, trusts and gift reporting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, trust, gift and related owner pass-through entity engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.

As a Tax Senior, You Will

What You Will Need

• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
