Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior to join the SoCal tax practice. You will prepare, supervise, and review tax engagements for individuals and entities while partnering with clients to deliver tailored tax advisory services.

You have a CPA or EA eligibility, at least 2 years of public accounting experience, and a passion to grow within a collaborative, high-performing CLA team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA (or EA) license or eligible to sit for CPA exams.
• At least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Strong problem-solving and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.

As a Tax Senior, you will:

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.

What you will need:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA (or EA) license or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain CPA license.
• You have at least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting.

• The compensation range for this position in CA is $87,00.00 - $146,000.00
