Job summary

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Heartland CLA Region. Locations include Bloomington IL and other Illinois offices. The role focuses on preparing, supervising, and reviewing various tax engagements for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships.

You will partner with clients on customized tax advisory work, develop staff, and advance operations with a client-centric, collaborative team at CLA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligible to sit for CPA exams with 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.

Responsibilities

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field

CPA license or eligibility (or EA for Tax positions)

150-credit requirement to obtain CPA license

2+ years public accounting experience

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.

What You Will Need

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
• You have at least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
