Gelman LLP is seeking a Tax Senior in Orange County, CA. This mid-level role combines hands-on tax preparation and leadership, overseeing staff and engaging with diverse clients, including corporations, partnerships and individuals.

The position requires at least 2 years in public accounting, active progress toward a CPA license, and travel to client sites. A Master of Tax is preferred, with strong communication and research skills to deliver accurate tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Progress toward CPA license required
• Proficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxation
• Ability to travel to client locations
• Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent service
• Experience managing multiple client engagements

Responsabilités

• Participate in client engagements providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services
• Research potential tax issues
• Prepare and/or review returns for corporate, partnership or individuals, including federal, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions
• Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities
• Provide both leadership and supervision to Tax Staff
