Job summary

Gelman LLP in Orange County seeks a Tax Manager who is a senior, client-facing leader. The manager advises clients on corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters, oversees tax strategy and contributes to business development.

This role trains and supervises Tax Seniors and Staff, requires a CPA with at least 4 years in public accounting (including 2 years supervising others), and experience with large, multi-state, middle-market clients. A Master of Tax is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred.
• CPA license required; minimum 4 years in public accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising and training experience.
• Experience with large, multi-state, middle-market clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate, partnership, and individual tax services.
• Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies.
• Develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
• Provide training and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff.
