Job summary

HHM CPAs in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to help prepare business and individual returns onsite. You will manage tax forms 1040, 1065, 1120s and 990, perform tax research, and serve as a resource to clients and staff within a collaborative, growth‑minded firm.

As part of HHM’s 300+ person firm, you will grow client relationships, mentor staff, and help deliver high‑quality tax, accounting and consulting services across Tennessee and Florida.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience required or equivalent
• CPA license preferred
• Strong tax research and analytical skills required
• Experience with tax software is a plus

• Complete extensive tax research and advise clients and staff
• Maintain and grow client relationships for the firm

HHM CPAs is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to help prepare business and individual returns.

This role will be onsite in Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax forms 1040, 1065, 1120s and 990
• Complete extensive tax research and act as a resource to clients and staff
• Achieve sustained value by originating and/or maintaining client relationships for the firm
• Contribute to the development of employees through mentorship

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; CPA is a plus
• 3+ years of public accounting at a national/regional level
• Proficiency with tax software such as ProSystems, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement Manager
• Experience with the tax aspects of business transaction issues, individual returns, partnerships, trusts, and estates
