Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to assist during the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program, and to help close interviews by assembling returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing results with clients.

The role emphasizes delivering superior service to all clients and completing bookkeeping procedures, with additional duties as assigned by the franchisee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
