Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. in the United States seeks a North America Tax Reporting Manager to oversee tax provisions under ASC 740 and related disclosures for the NA segment.

You will collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Internal Audit, and Treasury to ensure accurate reporting and support process improvements. Responsibilities include leading tax provision processes, preparing reports for senior management, forecasting tax rates, and mentoring the Tax Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of corporate income tax experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of large corporate ASC 740 experience (US GAAP).
  • Must have OneSource Tax Provision software experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies and Alteryx.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation, review, and finalization of the NA income tax reporting obligations as an SEC filer.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Manage forecasting and computation of North America’s interim and annual effective tax rate and cash tax.

Job Overview

As North America Tax Reporting Manager, you will oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of tax provisions and key disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP, specifically “ASC 740”, ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards for the North America segment including U.S. and Canada. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep tax technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across finance functions—including Accounting, FP&A, Internal Audit, and Treasury to deliver accurate and timely reporting. You will also lead process improvements, implement best practices, and play a key role in mentoring team members while managing the quarterly consolidated tax provision and public financial statement disclosures.

This position is part of the Coffee Beverage Operating Unit of Keurig Dr Pepper and reports to the Sr. Director Tax.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead detailed processes and various stakeholders surrounding the preparation, review, and finalization of the Company’s North America income tax reporting obligations as an SEC filer, including the determination of tax expense, deferred taxes, valuation allowances and uncertain tax positions in accordance with U.S. GAAP principles.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Prepare and/or review the uncertain tax positions including associated disclosures
  • Manage the forecasting and computation of North America’s interim period and annual effective tax rate as well as cash tax liability, including analyzing the impact of tax initiatives, business changes, and proposed and enacted tax law utilizing OneSource Tax Provision ("OTP") and updating summaries for senior management.
  • Support tax planning initiatives and assist in the preparation of tax forecasts.
  • Manage tax reporting packages, provide strategic guidance to local team on U.S. GAAP vs statutory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate tax provision processes, ensuring compliance and consistency across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure all North America related monthly and quarterly tax provisions (entries, tax account analysis, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, etc.) are complete and accurate in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, review, and/or perform research related tax technical implications and tax accounting impacts on various transactions impacting North America throughout the year
  • Identify and drive process improvements and other transformational opportunities that may provide value to our global tax provision processes and delivery.
  • Ensure SOX controls are properly documented and coordinate internal and external testing
  • Monitor and analyze global tax developments, assessing their impact on the company’s operations and financial statements.
  • Assist in overseeing and maintaining OTP to streamline provision and compliance processes.
  • Train, coach, and develop Tax Team members
  • Other Projects and duties as assigned

Total Rewards
  • Salary Range: $96,800- $133,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of corporate income tax experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of large corporate ASC 740 experience ( US GAAP)
  • Must have OneSource Tax Provision software experience
  • Proficiency in latest Microsoft technology and Alteryx
  • International Tax provision background is preferred.
