H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs at our Florida office.

You will interview clients, prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and provide IRS support with guidance from a seasoned team. The role emphasizes client growth, retention, and offering additional services, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
