H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide you with advanced tax training.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare tax returns, and support clients with IRS interactions, while growing the business and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
