Job summary

H&R Block is seeking aSeasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs, backed by advanced training. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and help grow client relationships while providing IRS support. Eligible for flexible seasonal hours and remote tools support.

Qualification includes CPA/EA or similar credentials, experience with complex returns, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment using virtual tools. A high school diploma is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment2
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools - video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Pay Range

$18.00 - $22.00/Hr.
