H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by expert support and advanced tax training.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and help grow the business with cross-selling. A CPA/EA certification or 5+ years in accounting or tax, plus a bachelor’s degree, are preferred.

This office is independently owned; enrollment in the HR Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is not a guarantee of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment2
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Pay Range

$18.00 - $50.00/Hr.
