H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to be successful.

This role includes conducting virtual tax interviews, preparing returns, and driving client growth while supporting teammates. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting (or related field), CPA or EA certification, and 5+ years in accounting/tax with experience in complex returns and tax planning.

Required Qualifications

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
  • All certification levels can provide tax notice services
  • Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates

Your Expertise:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Pay Range

$18.50 - $25.00/Hr.
