Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks passionate TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, connect clients to a broader team, and grow the local client base through outreach and partnerships.

You will deliver expert tax advice, support personal and business returns, and collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to offer year-round guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Lead local growth by outreach, referrals, and community partnerships to build a local client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build lasting relationships through in-person and virtual meetings and a deep understanding of each client’s financial picture.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, empathetic service and prompt responses to inquiries.
• Work onsite during typical hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri) with potential scaling during peak tax season
