Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs under expert guidance. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and contribute to client growth while mentoring teammates.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and CPA/EA certification; experience with virtual interviews and complex returns is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
