Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to serve on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while building a local client base and promoting TurboTax services. You will engage with customers in-person, help them navigate tax complexities, and contribute to community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfort working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Use government sites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Grow TurboTax client base in the local community and drive customer loyalty through proactive outreach.
• Represent TurboTax locally as a proactive community ambassador and support local marketing efforts.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
