Job summary

H&R Block is seeking individuals to assist with the tax interview process and ensure accurate data entry for client returns in a fast-paced seasonal environment. You’ll help prepare returns, review details with clients, and complete bookkeeping procedures while delivering superior service.

With flexible seasonal and part-time schedules, paid training, and teamwork, you’ll grow tax and customer service skills and enjoy a people-first culture alongside supportive professionals.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone

• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
