Job summary

H&R Block is seeking staff in Colorado to assist with tax interviews, entering client data, and assembling returns. This role focuses on delivering superior service to clients and supporting the tax process from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, good reading and math skills, and strong communication abilities. Prior experience with Windows-based programs is helpful; additional state and local requirements may apply.

• Effective communication in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and finalizing paperwork.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
