Job summary

H&R Block in Minnesota is seeking a front-line associate to support the tax interview process and ensure high-quality client service. You will enter client and W-2 details into the tax software, help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review results with clients.

Strong reading and math skills and the ability to communicate well in person and on the phone are required. Windows-based software experience is preferred, and duties may include additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures

What You’ll Bring To The Team
