Job summary

H&R Block in Sandwich, IL is seeking a Tax Interview Assistant to help start and finish tax interviews, entering client and W-2 data and preparing the return for signature. You will work closely with clients to ensure accuracy and a smooth process.

You will provide courteous service, use Windows-based software, and adhere to applicable state and local requirements. This is an entry-level role supporting customers during peak season with responsive, friendly support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
