Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist with the tax interview process, entering client and W-2 information into the tax software and helping ensure accurate data capture.

You will help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, review the final product with clients, and complete bookkeeping steps while delivering superior service to every client.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble tax returns and obtain signatures.
• Review completed tax return with client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Provide superior service to all clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Your Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
