Job summary

The H&R Block franchise in Beattyville, KY seeks an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant to help clients begin the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

You will assist with closing interviews, ensure quality service, and perform related duties; prior experience with Windows-based programs is helpful, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
