Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Maine seeks an entry-level assistant to support tax preparation and client service during the interview process. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and help assemble the tax return with accuracy.

You will work closely with clients to ensure a smooth experience, review completed results with them, and perform bookkeeping-related duties as needed. Prior experience with basic Windows software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic reading and math skills to complete tax interview.
• Effective in-person and phone communication.
• Experience with Windows-based programs preferred.
• Some state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities
