Job Description: Tax and Accounting Professional

OMiga is an outsourced accounting and advisory firm working with entrepreneurs across the country to grow and improve their businesses. We are seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to serve our growing list of clients. Key attributes of a successful candidate include:

• Highly Organized: Managing 10 to 15 clients requires excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Finisher: Ability to complete tasks efficiently, on time, and solve problems quickly.
• Tech Savvy & Continuous Learner: Familiarity with evolving software and applying technology to improve processes.
• Client Service Oriented: Ability to interact effectively with clients, establish trust, and provide insightful solutions.

We provide full-service tax and accounting solutions to clients ranging from start-ups to established companies. Your responsibilities will include reviewing transactions and reports, assisting with financial processes, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and addressing client inquiries.

OMiga has adopted a remote working model. Candidates must have a private workspace. Applicants from any US location are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Accounting or business-related degree with at least 3 years of experience
• Experience preparing 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, and 1040 returns with Schedule C and other schedules
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Drake Accounting, and Tax
• Previous experience in outsourced, multi-client accounting
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or CPA candidate is a plus
• Verifiable references
