Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented teammate in Ohio to support tax interview workflows, entering client and W-2 data accurately into our tax software. You will help assemble completed returns, obtain signatures, and review outcomes with clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Strong math and reading skills, clear communication, and familiarity with Windows-based programs are essential, along with readiness to handle state/local requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
