H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an individual to assist during the tax interview process and ensure high-quality client service at our Texas franchise office. The role involves entering client and W-2 information and helping assemble tax returns with accuracy.

This entry-level position emphasizes effective communication, basic math skills, and familiarity with Windows-based programs, with potential state/local requirements applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
