Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to assist at the start of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. You will help close the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client.

Additional duties include completing bookkeeping procedures and ensuring all clients receive superior service. Prior Windows experience and strong math skills are preferred to support accurate tax preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client.
