Job summary

H&R Block in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking an entry-level Tax Associate to help start and close tax interviews. You will enter client and W-2 information into our tax software and assist with assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the final product with the client.

You will also ensure all clients receive superior service and perform bookkeeping procedures as needed. Additional duties may be assigned based on franchise needs.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
