Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level associate to help initiate tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax software. You will help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the completed tax products with clients, while performing essential bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate records.

The role emphasizes delivering superior service to all clients and supporting the tax team with various duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic reading and math skills needed to complete the interview process.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
