Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking staff to assist at the start of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 data into the tax program. You will also help close interviews by assembling tax returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing outputs with clients.

Ideal candidates communicate well in person and on the phone, have a high school diploma, and are comfortable with Windows-based programs. Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
