Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to assist with the initial tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax software. You will help close interviews by assembling returns, securing signatures, and reviewing the final product with clients.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be comfortable with Windows-based programs, and demonstrate strong communication skills to support client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program to begin the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, review the product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
