Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to assist in the tax interview process and client service in Monterey, Tennessee. You will enter client and W-2 information, assemble tax returns, review the finished product with clients, and help with bookkeeping procedures.

The role emphasizes strong reading and math skills, clear communication, and proficiency with Windows-based software. Additional state/local requirements may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
