Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented team member to support tax interviews and ensure excellent client service at the Missouri Valley office. You will assist with data entry of client and W-2 information, help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, effective communication, and adherence to franchise procedures. Prior experience with tax software or Windows programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills sufficient to begin and complete the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
