H&R Block, Inc. in Clio, Michigan seeks an entry-level tax assistant to help begin and close tax interviews, entering client and W‑2 information into the tax program. You will assemble the return, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with the client.

Strong reading, math, and communication skills are required, along with familiarity with Windows-based programs. This is an on-site role with opportunities for seasonal work and learning on the job.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsabilités

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
