Job summary

H&R Block in Minnesota is seeking a role to assist with the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. You will help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished product with clients.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone. Experience with Windows-based programs is preferred and some state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return and obtain signatures at interview close, review with client.
• Provide superior service to all H&R Block clients.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
