Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an on-site team member in Minnesota to assist with tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program. You will help assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with clients.

Provide superior service and support to all clients during the interview process. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
