Job summary

H&R Block in Minnesota is seeking a detail-oriented associate to assist with the tax interview process, entering client information and W-2 details into our tax program. You will help close interviews by assembling returns, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with clients, and performing bookkeeping tasks.

You will ensure every client receives superior service and adhere to franchise guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to perform the tax interview.
• Effective communication in person and over the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
