Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a detail-oriented team member to help with the tax interview process in Lawton, OK. You’ll enter client and W-2 information into the tax software as the interview begins and support the closing steps to complete the return with accuracy.

You’ll communicate clearly with clients in person and on the phone, ensuring superior service and compliance with state requirements. Previous experience with Windows-based programs is helpful, ready for additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math abilities to complete tax interviews.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
