Job summary

RSM Global, a leading professional services firm, seeks interns to work with Accounting Methods & Periods (AMP) within the CIM group in McLean, VA. You will gain hands-on experience delivering client services and tax support across diverse engagements.

You will assist with tax planning, client interviews, data gathering, analyses and filings, while developing understanding of client business and industry. Travel to client locations is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax planning and research related to timing of income, deductions, capitalization and inventory.
• Develop understanding of client’s business and industry to identify tax planning ideas.
• Assist in multiple projects including client interviews, data gathering, analysis, computations, and tax filings.
• Document facts and positions and draft technical memoranda.
