Job summary

MDS Search is seeking a Tax Partner in Greenville, SC to transition from routine returns to high-touch advisory, building lasting relationships with business owners, families, and high-net-worth clients.

You will lead complex planning and compliance engagements, mentor staff, and drive growth within a collaborative leadership model while enjoying a hybrid, flexible culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Active CPA license required.
• Deep expertise in middle-market pass-through entities and private client tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary tax advisor for closely-held businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead complex tax planning, compliance, and advisory engagements across S-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and HNW private clients.
• Mentor and develop team members while cultivating strong regional business relationships in Greenville.

• Serve as the primary, trusted tax advisor for closely-held businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm experience strongly preferred).
• Active CPA license required.
• Deep expertise in middle-market pass-through entities, corporate tax, and private client tax planning.
