Job summary

Htprof, a public accounting firm in Greenville, SC, seeks a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to lead tax engagements and mentor staff. You will review individual, S-Corp, and partnership returns, provide proactive tax planning, and manage client relationships with a focus on excellence.

The role offers long-term leadership opportunities within a growing firm and collaboration with firm leadership to grow the Greenville office. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Strong public accounting tax experience.
• Experience with 1040s, S-Corps, and partnerships.
• Prior supervision or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare individual, S-Corporation, partnership, and other business tax returns.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation for tax engagements.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for tax planning and compliance matters.
• Review work completed by staff and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Help oversee and develop a team of approximately 4–5 professionals in the Greenville office.
• Assist with workflow management, deadlines, and quality control.
• Work directly with firm leadership on client service and continued growth of the Greenville office.
• Participate in tax planning and provide clients with proactive guidance throughout the year.
