Job summary

Green Lion Search Group is recruiting a Tax Partner to join the corporate tax practice of a national public accounting firm in Dallas. The firm is considering established partners and experienced managing directors ready to move into a partner role.

You will build upon an initial client portfolio while helping expand the firm’s corporate tax relationships in the Dallas market. Local candidates and those considering relocation are welcome.

Qualifications

• Current managing director or partner with substantial public accounting experience; Big Four experience strongly preferred.
• Deep corporate tax knowledge and experience managing complex business engagements.
• Income tax provision and ASC 740 experience is valuable.
• Strong client relationship skills and a record of contributing to practice growth.
• Experience leading teams and translating technical tax issues into practical business advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate income tax compliance, planning and consulting engagements.
• Help clients assess tax implications of operational decisions, expansion and changes in business structure.
• Work with specialist teams on multistate, international and transaction-related matters.
• Serve as a senior advisor to client finance and tax leaders.
• Manage engagement quality, staffing and financial performance.
• Generate new business, expand existing relationships and develop tax professionals.
