Whitman Advisory Job Community is seeking an exceptional Tax Operations Manager to transform the tax operating model and deliver data-driven process improvements. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across levels to drive scope, governance, and reporting enhancements.

The ideal candidate combines 6–10 years of tax operations experience with strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of tax operations experience.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of resource allocation and taxation workstreams.
• Experience delivering high-impact projects.
• Familiarity with tax software such as XCM, ShareFile, AutoFlow.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures and controls.
• Identify process enhancements and systems deficiencies.
• Continuously enhance tax compliance processes leveraging technology.
• Identify risk areas and develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues.
• Monitor progress of all projects and keep stakeholders informed.
• Manage administrative functions, e.g. billing.
• Liaise with workstreams to drive collaboration and integration.
• Develop communications and presentations.
