Job summary

Exemplar Global is seeking a Tax Operations Manager to oversee tax compliance, reporting, and operations across the business. Based in Manhattan, NY, this hybrid role partners with finance, accounting, legal, and external advisors to improve processes and strengthen controls.

You will manage tax calendars, filings, payments, and tax provisions, lead a team, and drive process improvements, automation, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive tax experience in compliance, reporting, or operations.
• Active CPA strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings.
• Manage day-to-day tax workflows, establish procedures, and improve processes.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of tax returns, provisions, and schedules.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive automation of reporting tasks.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise tax and accounting personnel.
