Job summary

Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) is seeking a Tax Operations Assistant I to support workflow administration, tax return processing, and client communications. The role advances firm workflow, uses automation tools, and helps ensure timely delivery of tax services in a professional services environment.

This part-time (90%) position requires strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to learn new systems. Seasonal hours prevail with more hours Sept–Apr and 20–25 hours off-season.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in administrative, client service, or operations support.
• Experience in professional services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support processing, tracking, and delivery of tax returns and extensions.
• Monitor due dates to ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Assist with routing and managing work within firm workflow systems.
• Assist with tax operations projects and client communications.
